Hi friends!

Chinese New Year is round the corner! What's more exciting than visiting your teachers and give them your well wishes for the year of the Rabbit?! Besides just catching up, we have a Lo Hei at 9.45am on 2nd February 2011!

Please be informed that you all will need to take note of the time because the teachers will not be around after 10am. So send them your regards before it's too late!

CINEMA UNDER THE STARS

To end the SRJC Orientation for the newly registered JC1s, SRJC and SRJC Alumni have jointly organized the Cinema under the Stars. All JC1s, JC2s, staff, alumni members and friends outside of SRJC will be able to enjoy the atmosphere of Chinese New Year with the SRJC family.

The show that the school will be airing is "Despicable me"! It is a funny, heartwarming and cute animated movie. Scenes like "Is this counted as annoying?" *plok plok plok* and "it's so fluffy i'm gonna die!" are catchy!

So friends, leave 1st February 2011 free for the Cinema under the Stars and invite your family, classmates, schoolmate, and everyone you know!

Tickets will be sold at $3 for JC1s and JC2s, and $5 for the Alumni members at the school gate.

Food, snacks and drinks will be sold on that day at the field.

All of the profits earned will go to the SRJC Endowment fund to aid students who cannot go through financial difficulty.

so bring along yourself, your friends and loved ones!

Teacher's Day performance

Hi all!

The upcoming Will Run is drawing nearer and are you all ready to welcome it with zest?!

Alumni members and their guests have much to look forward to. Besides doing one's part for Charity, one can also indulge in a spread of good food and drinks, and shopaholics may pick a variety of well designed shirts, and other accessories.



After this great event, there's another one coming up for you!

Say Thank You to or even a simple visit to your teacher would delight them. Or perhaps, a performance on Teacher's Day to entertain them?


Calling out to all alumni members! You can form a group to perform anything on the stage for the teacher. That's of course, if it's legal and decent. :)

Teacher's day Celebration is on 31st August 2010.

WILL RUN 2010

Hi all!

srjc annual Will Run is back again!


Just like before, all graduates of SRJC are invited to register and run up to 10km for a good cause!

This year, there will be booths set up with free 100 plus exclusively for our alumni family! You can also purchase special Will Run sports bands at $2 and our alumni polo tee at $20 with ALL profits going to the SRJC Endowment Fund!

To sign up preliminarily, alumni are to email their name, year of graduation, email address and contact number to serangoonjc_alumni@yahoo.com.sg. Also, they are to state their interest to purchase a event SRJC Will Run T-shirt and their sizes. (More details on pricing and design will be released on a later date)

Please note that registration and event T-shirts are available based on first come first served basis. Successful registrants are to register from 7am onwards at our alumni booth for 2 waves of flag-off with the current JC students:

- 7.30am => Girls Flag Off
- 9.00am => Boys Flag Off


So come on down to take part in this amazing event!

Annual General Meeting

Hi to all Alumni Members!

Please note that the Alumni will be having their Annual General meeting on the 17th April 2010 at SRJC. As for the venue, it will be updated shortly.

There will be buffet provided at 12pm, which will be followed by the AGM at 1pm.

One of the main objective of AGM is to form a quorum on the proposed changes in the Constitution so that it will serve better in the future endeavours of SRJC Alumni.
